WE LEARN BY DOING ......... let show you how we are doing !

Lushoto secondary school, believes that learning by doing is the best way to learn and understand quickly than learning only by theory. So it is school's role to encourage more practical learning, although school has few and normal tools, apparatus and other
materials . . . . . . still students enjoy highly on being trained by that ways.
Lushoto Sec also believes that, learning by real practicals helps to build better performance among learners in science and other subjects concerned. Students who physically experience scientific concepts understand them more deeply and score better on science subjects and even other subjects.
According to famous scholars Aristotle (The Nicomachean Ethics) he believes that, '' For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.'' and on the same idea of 'learning by doing', Richard Branson said that, '' You don't learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over.''

In Lushoto Sec, more emphasizes are installed to enable and facilitate students to learn in practical ways so as to build capacity for quickly understand and be able to act in the reality of the matter. There are different ways for them to learn by doing across various subjects, but here let get to see students who demonstrated their ability and skills to act in chemistry lesson on doing real experiments of titration and volumetric analysis.

Now in doing so Lushoto Sec expect four fundamental skills and knowledge from its students as stated by Kolb, ''. . . in order to gain knowledge from an genuine real practical, the learner must have four Abilities. . . '' Such as:
  • The learner must be willing to be actively involved in the real practical;
  • The learner must be able to reflect on the real practical;
  • The learner must possess and use analytical skills to conceptualize the real practical; and
  • The learner must possess decision making and problem solving skills in order to use the new ideas gained from the real practical.
